As we all know, Paris Saint-Germain are doing everything they can to bring their players to the top level recently. In order to achieve this goal, players not only invest their energy in daily training, but also are asked not to drink sugary drinks such as cola and iced tea.

According to “Le Parisien“, the team has had a nutritionist in place since July to help players develop better fitness. Despite Paris Saint-Germain’s previous sponsorship deal with Coca-Cola, the nutritionist’s first decision was to ban drinks incompatible with top sports.

“I don’t think anything of it there. Cola is exactly the wrong thing. What bothers me most about Coke is not that it only has single sugar and only gives a short push, but the phosphoric acid that is in it,” Warnecke explained. “That’s exactly what an athlete doesn’t need. That demineralizes again when the athlete is at the limit anyway. ”

And according to reports, this provision also contains another additional new measure. The players would now be forced to eat breakfast and lunch together as part of their two compulsory meetings per day.
